The cover has a compressed air nozzle for introduction of compressed air. The cover is indirectly placed via cover sealing against sealing surface in axial direction for closing filling opening by at least one holding device. At least three holding devices distributively are provided in the region of filling opening. Dosing container (1) for solder comprises pot-shaped container wall (2) comprising a filling opening, a central axis, a container edge (3) bounding the filling opening, a sealing surface on the container edge for applying a cover sealing (4) and a removable cover (5). The cover has a compressed air nozzle for the introduction of compressed air. The cover is indirectly placed via the cover sealing against the sealing surface in the axial direction for closing the filling opening by at least one holding device. At least three holding devices distributively arranged over a circumference are provided in the region of the filling opening. The cover is form-fittingly preloaded in the axial direction over the holding device. At least two holding devices are brought in a first form closure with the cover at a first position in the radial direction. The holding device is preloaded at the first position against the cover in the axial direction. The cover has an abutment device. The cover is brought in a second form closure with the container edge over the abutment means at the position of the holding device in the radial direction. The cover has a recess. The cover sealing is arranged in the recess such that the cover gasket is placed against the sealing surface on the container edge during mounting of the cover on the container edge. The cover has a stopper surface, with which the cover is placed against the container edge. The cover sealing is initially preloaded against the sealing surface by preloading in the axial direction of at least two holding devices against the cover. The holding device is brought into a second position through further axial preloading of the holding device against the cover. The abutment surface is placed at the second position against the container edge. An independent claim is also included for a system comprising the dispensing container, a guide shaft having a piston, which is placed within the dosing container against the container wall in the radial direction, where the piston is movable for guiding the solder into the outlet in the axial direction.
