The centrifuge insert has an attachment edge (2) for attaching a base plate (3) holding the cleaning element. The centrifuge insert is rotatable about a rotational axis and comprises a liquid permeable centrifuge basket (4) with supporting edges (5) for attaching and supporting the attachment edge. The supporting edges are provided at the inner side of the centrifuge insert. The liquid permeable centrifuge basket has a side wall. An upper supporting edge is arranged on a certain height (H1) and another supporting edge is arranged on a lower height (H2) seen from a lower side of the centrifuge insert. The upper supporting edge is far from the rotational axis than the lower supporting edge. An independent claim is included for a wiper system with a drive.
