Foundation arrangement for the tower of a wind turbine with removable tower foundation rings

A tower base ring assembly is provided to secure a wind turbine tower to a foundation. An upper ring is designed for attachment to a wind turbine tower. A lower ring has an open center and a plurality of radially oriented troughs distributed all around the open center, the troughs each having an outer end. The upper ring and the lower ring are detachable from one another, and the tower base ring arrangement can be connected to the foundation.
