The generator (100) has an integrator (102) coupled with three physical elements (106A-106C). The integrator selects the two physical elements (106A, 106C), amplifies a difference between the two selected physical elements over time, and produces an integrated difference signal. A comparison/decision logic (104) is coupled with the integrator, and determines whether the difference is linked with a bit 1 or 0. The integrator is designed based on a difference-operational amplifier and an integration capacitor for integrating the difference during alternate scanning and integration periods. An independent claim is also included for a method for generating a bit 1 or 0 based on physical elements.
