The engine (1) has a compressor (6) i.e. exhaust-driven turbocharger, provided with a combustion chamber (3), which supplies air or air fuel mixture via an inlet pipe (4). A secondary spacer (14) is opened between the compressor and the combustion chamber for supplying secondary air or secondary air fuel mixture standing under pressure into the pipe. An auxiliary compressor (8) i.e. root auxiliary compressor, is arranged between an opening of the secondary spacer into the pipe and the compressor. The secondary spacer is attached to a pressure reservoir (15) over a control valve (16).
