The connector (10) has an insulating housing (12) and a control element (17) for connecting or disconnecting a connection between two contact surfaces of a terminal (24), a battery cell, a module or a subunit. Two mutually parallel spring contacts (13,14) are arranged in the housing for creation of connection. The spring contact is supported on two abutments (15) and control element is arranged rotatably between spring contacts in region between abutments. The two opposed recessed cam surfaces (18) are provided close to rotational axis (D) of control element. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a battery pack; and (2) a motor car.
