The arrangement has a temperature sensor (10) which forms one-dimensional configuration in the end side of a sensor head (12) which is connected with conductors (16a,16b). A cantilevered portion of temperature sensor extends through a housing opening formed between two coils of a stator space, and engages with stator coil. A sensor guide element arranges in the region of housing opening through which the temperature sensor is guided on portion of an insertion path and is held in installation position, during insertion of temperature sensor into stator space.
