The machine i.e. generator, has a stator (1) that is arranged in a stator housing (2). The stator is connected with a power supply system (4) via a set of connection terminals (7) that is arranged in a connection box (6). The connection box is arranged directly to the stator housing. A fan (12) is arranged for supplying cooled air to the junction box and a component (13) of the electric machine. A part of air (14a, 14b) is sucked in by the fan is conducted prior to cooling of the component through the connection box.
