The engine (100) has two cylinders (1-4) that are provided with outlet ports to which the exhaust gas line (7a,7b) for discharging the exhaust gases via an exhaust system (8) is connected. An inlet port is connected with suction lines (5a,5b) for supplying charge air via the intake system (6). The return lines (10,10') are formed in the downstream of a first shut-off element (9) opens into the suction line of cylinder.
