The module has a balancer shaft (7) driven by an electric drive (4) and not connected with a crankshaft (1) in a force-fit manner. The balancer shaft comprises a separator (5) in different regions (7.1, 7.2). A phase position of the regions is adjusted against each other over a mechanical, electrical and hydraulic mechanism. An input shaft is separated into two separated counter balance shafts. The counter balance shafts are driven by the electric drive and another electric drive. A drive shaft is connected with the crankshaft.
