The valve (1) has a pinion (4) that is arranged with teeth, where pinion is installed to move an adjustment ring (6). A set of detent pawls (7, 8) is arranged for preventing the pinion from turning in opposite direction. The detent pawls are arranged such that one of the pawls is tilted towards another pawl. The detent pawls are placed in different positions in an axial direction of a friction clutch (3). Each of the detent pawls forms an angle with regard to the radius of the pinion. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a wear compensation device (2) a friction clutch (3) a vehicle.
