The device (1) has a clutch disc that is frictionally clamped between a displaceable pressure plate (2) and a counter-pressure plate. A cup spring-type actuator (3) has a cup spring portion (4) that is merged with a support portion (7) in a contact area (10) of a transition zone (9). The spring portion is merged into a flap portion (16). The flap portion is comprised of a recess (17) and/or radially extended bar (18) that are operatively connected to an axially extended driver (21) for transmitting torque to the pressure plate.
