The gear box has rolling elements which are arranged between threaded spindle (1) and a stepped threaded nut (2). Inner return element (3) and outer return element (4) is provided for returning the rolling elements by fastening the stepped threaded nut. The inner return element is engaged around the inner side of the stepped threaded nut. The outer return element having pot-shaped sleeve is attached to the stepped threaded nut in the form a clip connection, such that the stepped threaded nut is secured by the inner return element and outer return element. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) linear unit; and (2) method for manufacturing rotation-translation gear box.
