Method for detecting error condition of hydraulic brake system of motor car, involves comparing current value of brake booster and volume value with current-volume reference values during detection of error condition of brake system
The method involves determining current value of an electromechanical brake booster i.e. electromotor, such as DC motor and displaced brake fluid volume value of a master brake cylinder during operation of the master brake cylinder. The current value of electromechanical brake booster and volume value are compared with current-volume reference values during detection of error condition of a hydraulic brake system. Error condition of back shift of a brake piston is detected by deviation of dead gears during operation of the master brake cylinder. The master brake cylinder is designed as a tandem master brake cylinder. An independent claim is also included for a hydraulic brake system for a motor car.
