The electrical circular connector (1) has a contact carrier (7) that is provided at primary end (E1) of handle portion (13). The contact elements (9a-9d) are provided to partially surround and enclose portion of connecting cable (11) form-fitting at a secondary end (E2) of contact carrier. A stop sleeve is provided at contact carrier, on which union nut (3) is rotatably mounted. The guard plastic element (2) is mounted at the handle portion while longitudinal ribs (40) are provided on the inner side of plastic element.
