The battery pack (105) has a control device (135) which is provided for controlling a display (130) to represent a parameter of an electrical appliance (100) or an electrical energy store (110). A position sensor (140) is provided for determining a position change in space. The control device is provided to change the representation on the display in dependence of the determined position change.
