The apparatus has independently manageable carriages (6) that are provided with track rollers along rail direction. A feed drive (5) and the carriages are coupled to one another by coupling rods (4). The carriages are dragged or moved using feed drive along rail direction. A tool (18) is provided relative to chassis (23) of carriage. The structurally equivalent coupling elements provide direct connection between the chassis and the tool and a control computer is mounted on the chassis. The coupling elements enable relative movement of tool.
