The drain (1) has a cylindrical hollow body (1') closed at its lower end and provided with a grid at its upper end, where the hollow body is made of polymeric material. The hollow body is formed integrally with a tubular side connector (4) and with a siphon-forming structure (5). The siphon-forming structure comprises a re-entrant projection (6) of a side wall (1'') of the hollow body at the side connector, where the re-entrant projection cooperates with a lower part (7) of the hollow body for producing a water seal. An independent claim is also included for a system for drainage of rain water, comprising a support slab.
