The garment i.e. waist coat (1), has a visible surface comprising a fluorescent visible material part and a retro reflecting visible material part that includes parallel and horizontal retro reflective strips (2-1, 2-2) extended on front and rear parts of the garment, where the retro reflecting visible material part is formed form micro bead fabric. A portion i.e. 30 percentage, preferably 35 percentage, and more preferentially 40 percentage of the visible surface receives alphanumeric characters and/or decorative patterns. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a signaling garment.
