The stud (1) has a basic part (10) comprising a lower face (100) adapted to pose the basic part on a plane support, and an upper face (101) forming a convex tactile relief. A housing (102) is emerged through an upper opening from the upper face of the basic part. A cover (11) is partly inserted in the housing of the basic part such that the cover seals the upper opening of the housing. An upper face (111) of the cover is flushed on a periphery with an edge (102d) of the upper opening of the housing and formed with the upper face of the basic part having a convex tactile surface. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a tactile stud assembly (2) a method for installing a tactile stud on a support.
