The device for simultaneously grinding samples in a set of closely-spaced containers (9) having a section of less than one square centimeter, comprises a set of pivot axes mills with a thread whose pitch is larger than a diameter of a grinding axis. The mills are rotated by a reciprocation motion of their respective non rotating nuts along the axes mills, and then exert a significant force on samples. The threads of the axes mills have a profile to form the nuts. A module (1) comprises a bearing plate (5), the pivot axes mills and multiple removable nuts. The device for simultaneously grinding samples in a set of closely-spaced containers (9) having a section of less than one square centimeter, comprises a set of pivot axes mills with a thread whose pitch is larger than a diameter of a grinding axis. The mills are rotated by a reciprocation motion of their respective non rotating nuts along the axes mills, and then exert a significant force on samples. The threads of the axes mills have a profile to form the nuts. A support of a bearing plate (5) on each axis mill is done through a ball, and the holding of the axes mills on the bearing plate is carried by a tax flange mill or a pin and against a workpiece secured to the bearing plate. A module (1) comprises the bearing plate, the pivot axes mills and multiple removable nuts. The plate carries the containers of sample and is equipped with a chopper/agitator (8). A variation speed of the mills and a distance between the bearing plate and the sample containers are coordinated. The mills grind hard materials and have grooves or protrusions. The module is moved by a system (13) of lifting screw jack type with deformable parallelograms. A rotation of the axes mills and the support of the axes mills are carried out by two actuators at maximum. The bearing plate is equipped on a face that supports the containers.
