The method involves stamping a portion of a body part (2) for forming a care edge (8) and a variable depth gutter (6) on the portion. Two stamping tools (12, 14) are arranged to move in parallel towards the portion of the part with different strokes, where the tools are in contact with the part at a same time. The tools are moved at different speeds so as to arrive at an end of respective stroke at the same time. Two slides are arranged to be in motion by following a sliding motion of different angles with a common moving part of a stamping press. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a stamping press equipment (2) a stamping press.
