The converter has a rapid digital-to-analog converter (DAC1) providing complementary currents of constant sum, where one of the currents is proportional to analog-to-digital conversion results. A unit provides an output voltage including a differential amplifying pair with branches, where the branches have transistors (T0, T'0), resistive loads (G1.R) connected between a reference voltage and a collector of the transistor, a current source connected to an emitter of the transistor and emitter resistor (2R) connected between the emitters. Currents of the converter are derived from the branches.
