The wheel has a rim (2) and a pneumatic tire (1) defining a circumferential cavity with the rim. An acoustic resonator (3) is positioned at the bottom of the rim, for reducing the amplitude or suppressing a natural resonance of the cavity. The resonator includes a base fixed to the bottom of the rim, and a top formed with a hole, where the base and the top are connected to one another by side walls intended to extend under the effect of a centrifugal force created during a rolling phase of the wheel. A spring is interposed between the base and the top.
