The system has a battery (10) for receiving the electric current flowing from an external network (41) outside a vehicle power supply through a charger (44), where the system is supported partly by a casing (2) configured to be conductive connected to an earth of the external network. An estimating unit estimates minimum insulation resistance between terminals of the battery and the casing. A launch unit (43) is configured in a charging phase of the battery to start charging the battery when the minimum insulation resistance is above a threshold.
