The device has a set of video cameras that collects multidirectional images in an environment by sending signals to a reception unit for retransmission bound for a subject (3) surrounded by a screen placed in a fixed cabin (1). The subject is allowed to carryout walking movements to guide a robot. Information of displacement of the subject is transmitted to a distant robot. The displacement of the subject is translated into displacement of the robot. The subject is allowed to remain confined in an enclosure.
