The method comprises cutting a workpiece in a transparent plate, shaping the cut part, heating the shaped part, forming a lower matrix (MI) and an upper matrix (MS) on the heated part, and hardening the formed part to obtain a transparent wall (PT). The step of forming the lower matrix and the upper matrix comprises a punch (PP) for defining two internal recesses constituting a prism to outwardly transfer the light propagating internally to provide a lighting function in the heated part.
