The device has a set of elementary transparent optical parts arranged successively, where each optical part is in contact with other optical parts, which are contiguous for the optical part. A mechanical assembly unit is provided for assembling the optical parts. Each optical part includes a form complementary to the other optical parts that are contiguous for the optical part. The assembly unit includes a fastener (5) for a periphery (4) of the optical parts. The optical parts include an intermediate lens (3) positioned between an input lens (1) and an output lens (2). The fastener is a clipping fastener, a welding fastener, a gluing fastener, a riveting fastener, a screwing fastener and a bolting fastener. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a complex optical device for a lighting and/or signaling device of a car.
