The method involves supplying multiple phases of a stator independently with variable reluctance at a predetermined activation cycle by an inverter (10). Control signals of unipolar switching strategy are received to generate control voltage (V asterisk) for phases. The unipolar switching strategies are established when two switches (Th, Tl) are preferentially switched to control current in the phases. The unipolar switching strategies are selected to apply for power supply of one of the phases according to alternating activation of cycle phase.
