The coupling has a set of body elements (100, 400) including a set of respective openings (104, 406) in fluidic communication with a cavity (120). A piston (200) is movable in translation in the cavity between a stop position and an opening position. A compression spring (500) is arranged so as to exert a back pulling force for pulling the piston towards the stop position. A position encoder (600) detects a position of the piston in the body cavity when the piston enters the stop and opening positions so as to indicate the passage of the piston to an intermediate position. An independent claim is also included for a brake control circuit.
