The stage (R) has a cylindrical internal part (2), a cylindrical external part (3) and a radial blade (4) formed between the internal and external parts. A housing (5) is formed for accommodating cords (7) for damping vibrations of the stage, where the cords comprise a single-layered or multi-layered strand (6). The housing is designed as an annular cavity and arranged partially downstream of the external parts. The strand is designed with length of 1 m and diameter of 1.7mm, where the cords are made from silica fibers, where size and/or stiffness of the strand is adjusted. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a set of turboshaft engine (2) a method for damping vibrations of a part of a turboshaft engine.
