The device (DIS) has two wheels (ROU1) resting on a ground (GRD) and connected by a connecting structure. The connecting structure consists of a frame beam (POU), which is provided with a pair of primary fixing units (FIP1, FIP2), where the primary fixing units are arranged on two sides of the frame beam. A removable electric energy source consists of a battery block (BLO), which is provided with a pair of secondary fixing units (FIS1, FIS2), where the primary and secondary fixing units are adapted to co-act in pairs. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a mobile device.
