The method involves administering a quantity of lactose ranging between 0.1g and 100g to a subject. A concentration of glucose in a blood sample of the subject is determined before administration, at 15 minutes of interval after administration for four times, and within maximum three hours following the administration. A score of symptoms i.e. flatulences, is determined. A score of intensity of pain on a level of hypogastrium is determined. Obtained values are combined by a linear function to obtain an end value based on the score of symptoms and the score of intensity of pain. The lactose is provided in form of powder, tablet, gel, capsule or solution. An independent claim is also included for a diagnosis kit.
