The device has a pulling tube (9) equipped with a filter (7) connected to an inlet of an internal combustion thermal engine through a droplet separator (12) and a catalyst (6) by a conduit (10). The tube is placed after an outlet of an exhaust line to aspire a mixture of ambient air and exhaust gas at low pressure and low-temperature. The filter is provided with an optional electrical resistor (8) to clean the filter by intermittent pyrolysis. The droplet separator retains condensed water such that the catalyst is not cleaned.
