The cooler (1) has a set of U-shaped heat transfer branches (2, 2a) traversed in a contrary direction, and a condensate venting unit (7) for discharging condensates in the cooler during heat transfer. The venting unit is provided with an inlet that is connected to a lower part of the cooler for collecting the condensates. The venting unit comprises a channel for parallely passing the supercharging air and condensates. A lower case (4) is arranged on the cooler for collecting the condensates. An independent claim is also included for a powertrain of a car.
