The winch has an elongated tension chain links (5) associated with a traction unit i.e. toothed pinion (7), where teeth of the pinion are engaged with the respective chain links. The traction unit comprises a clutch and a blocking system. A straightening core (12) and a straightening unit are provided for untwisting of chain strands (5 ', 5'') and arranged on sides of the traction unit. The core and unit are cooperated with the chain links. A storage box (9) is arranged upstream of the traction unit, and a guiding unit (15) is arranged downstream of the traction unit.
