Method for optimization of energy efficiency of regenerative sub-station in railway, involves arranging negative slope for limitation of current, and utilizing positive slope instead of negative or worthless slope in regeneration mode
The method involves providing a traction zone (I) in which a power is provided to satisfy energy demand of a train. An inactivity zone (II) is provided in which current is not consumed nor provided. A regeneration zone (III) is provided in which current for braking of train is consumed. A current limitation zone is provided in a regeneration mode, where a negative slope (31) is arranged for limitation of current, and an offset current is introduced into the negative slope. A positive slope is utilized instead of negative or worthless slope in the regeneration mode.
