The device (1) has a reservoir (2) that is arranged for storage of a product such as food, to be dispensed, where the reservoir is provided in the shape of a hopper. A stationary element or stop (9) is arranged on a trajectory followed by a closing part (5) of a distributer (4) at the time of displacement of the distributer along a guidance path (7). The closing part allows passage of a closing unit (51) such as trap door, from one position to another position by simple contact of support of the closing unit with the stationary element at the time of outward journey of the distributer.
