The device (1) has a control module (11) for controlling a selection unit (48) to indicate a source from psychosensory data sources (41-45). A correspondence table (12) is addressable by the module, where the table contains a pattern associated with the source and transmissible from the source. A measurement module (13) measures a spatio-temporal broadcast signal produced by an electronic system (40) to generate a signal measurement. A recognition module (14) compares the measurement to the pattern so as to announce malfunction in absence of recognition of the pattern in the measurement.
