The device has a facial mask (10) covering all respiratory tracts of a user, and a cartridge (20) containing a collection unit for collecting carbon dioxide contained in exhaled air. An air receiver (30) contains the exhaled air purged from the carbon dioxide. An oxygen bottle (40) supplies oxygen, where the device operates in a closed loop. The mask comprises an inspiration and/or exhalation valve, an air inlet pipe (12) for inhalation and an air outlet pipe (13) for exhalation. The air outlet pipe is connected to the cartridge, and the inlet pipe is connected to the air reservoir.
