The mold has a lower part (12) provided with a recess and an upper part (11) provided with a counter recess, where the parts define a compression chamber during closing of the mold. A thermal regulation unit is adapted by the lower and the upper parts of the mold. A cooling unit (13) is provided at periphery of the compression chamber. The cooling unit includes an enclosure in shape of vertical wall inside in which a coolant circulates. The vertical wall surrounding the recess is placed in a groove of the lower part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a part by a mold.
