The invention consists of a system of tangible interfaces for interfacing a physical object with a touch screen apparatus (11), said object being held on the surface of the touch screen (12) of the apparatus (11) by a user. The system comprises at least one tangible interface (31) as well as electronic means for implementing said tangible interface. The latter comprises a conductive gripping zone (45) and an insulating plane base (32) intended to be applied to the touch screen (12) of the apparatus (11), on the surface of which conductive elements are disposed ( 46-48) electrically connected to the gripping zone (45) and forming contact points arranged in a given arrangement specific to the tangible interface (31) considered. The electronic means are configured to be able, as soon as points of contact are detected on the surface of the touch screen, to determine, from the relative positions of the various detected contact points, whether these contact points correspond to a tangible interface and if so, to identify this tangible interface.
