Shutter eyewear apparatus with wide arms/wings suitable for branding

A shutter eyewear apparatus 10, has an orbital frame 12, the orbital frame 12 itself has a left orbital aspect 12L and a right orbital aspect 12R, multiple strut members 14 within the orbital aspects, and two oversized wings 16, having a width of at least 12mm at any point along a length of the wings. Preferably the wings are approximately 23mm wide at a folding break 34 of the wings. Preferably there is provided an applied longitudinal element 48 for branding along a length of at least one wing and an applied icon element 50 about a neck 28 of at least one wing. The eyewear may be formed to resemble the grille of an American football helmet (see figures 4-5) with protruding lateral strut members and vertical struts also. This type of eyewear is also known as shutter shades or Venetian blind shades.
