PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly provide methods for easily evaluating fertilization capacity of sperms of fish which belong to the genus Gnathopogon from Barbinae, the subfamily from the family Cyprinidae, especially to Gnathopogon caerulescens, regardless of season.;SOLUTION: In one embodiment, provided is a method for evaluating fertilization capacity of sperms of fish which belong to the genus Gnathopogon, the method using eggs of fish which belong to the genus Danio from Rasborinae, the subfamily from the family Cyprinidae, especially eggs of Danio rerio. According to the present invention, evaluating fertilization capacity of sperms of fish which belong to the genus Gnathopogon can be performed in any season. Furthermore, consumption of eggs of fish belonging to the genus Gnathopogon, which is an endangered genus, can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
