MONITORING SYSTEM FOR LOOM IN WEAVING FACTORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set the static IP address of a loom computer and to easily associate the static IP address with a loom layout table in a host computer.;SOLUTION: A host PC 3 has functions of managing a plurality of static IP addresses and creating a loom layout table showing loom positions. A loom PC 4 acquires a temporary IP address from a DHCP server 8 when power to a looms is turned on, and makes a request to the host PC 3 for the assignment of a static IP address by using the temporary IP address. The host PC 3 assigns the static IP address to the loom PC 4 that has made the request for the assignment. After the completion of the assignment, the host PC 3 shifts to the mode of associating the static IP address of the loom PC 4 with the loom layout table. A plurality of loom PCs 4 transmit respective acquisition completion signals to the host PC 3 in the sequence specified by the host PC 3. The host PC 3 sequentially associates the static IP addresses of the loom PCs 4 with the loom layout table according to the acquisition completion signals from the loom PCs 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
