PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant assembly for a long bone which is adapted to support an extracorporeal prosthesis.SOLUTION: The assembly comprises a stem 22, a subcutaneous component 24 and a transdermal shaft 26. The stem comprises a proximal edge 34 adapted to be received in a medullary canal surgically prepared in a long bone and a distal end 40 comprising a surface adapted to facilitate bone inner growth. The subcutaneous component comprises a proximal part adapted to be attached on the distal end of the stem and a fix surface adapted to facilitate fixation of soft tissue. The transdermal shaft 26 comprises a proximal edge adapted to be attached on the subcutaneous component.
