PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication structure for a timing chain, capable of switching lubricating oil to be supplied or not via a lubricating oil guide part depending on the temperature of the lubricating oil.;SOLUTION: A lubrication structure includes: a guide oil path 8 for guiding the lubricating oil forcibly fed by an oil pump to a valve timing change device; a chain guide jet 26 communicated with the middle of the guide oil path 8 for guiding the lubricating oil supplied from the guide oil path 8 to a contact area between a timing chain 36 and a chain guide 38, and a switching mechanism 40 for switching between a state that the lubricating oil can be supplied from the guide oil path 8 into the chain guide jet 26, and a state that the lubricating oil cannot be supplied from the guide oil path 8 into the chain guide jet 26, depending on a temperature of the lubricating oil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
