PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material 1 for vehicles which enables molding by foaming a foam material at individual specified positions and prevents separation between the main part and a bank part and its production method.;SOLUTION: A main part 2 and a bank part 3 are formed by foaming and molding a foam material. The main part 2 is composed of a urethane material more flexible than the material of the bank part 3. In the boundary part 5 between the main part 2 and the bank part 3, the side of the main part 2 has a continuous fitting shape 2a; the side of the bank part 3 also has a continuous fitting shape 3a; and the fitting shape 2a and the fitting shape 3a are fitted together so as not to allow mutual separation of the side of the main part 2 and the side of the bank part 3 in the direction of an arrow 6, or the vehicle width direction.
