PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide self-emulsifying compositions excellent in at least one of the self-emulsification, dispersibility, emulsion stability and absorbability, with no or low ethanol addition.SOLUTION: Provided is a self-emulsifying composition comprising at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 3-polyunsaturated fatty acids, pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters thereof in a range of 50-95 mass% in total, and an emulsifier of which hydrophilic-lipophilic balance is 10 or higher in a range of 5-50 mass%, where the composition contains ethanol not more than 4 mass% of the total mass of the compound and the emulsifier.
