PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid storage battery that is inexpensive and compact and has the long life, and a hybrid power storing device, a power generating and storing unit, and a power network system using the same, and a traveling body.SOLUTION: There is provided a hybrid storage battery obtained by connecting a single or a plurality of virtual cells in series, the virtual battery in which: a first aqueous storage battery consisting of a single cell or a plurality of cells, a second aqueous storage battery consisting of a single cell or a plurality of cells of a different type from the first aqueous storage battery, and an organic solvent storage battery consisting of a single cell or a plurality of cells are connected in parallel with each other; the overcharge voltage of the organic solvent storage battery is made higher than the water decomposition voltage of the first aqueous storage battery and the water decomposition voltage of the second aqueous storage battery; the average discharge voltage of the second aqueous storage battery is made higher than the average discharge voltage of the organic solvent storage battery; and the average discharge voltage of the organic solvent storage battery is made higher than the average discharge voltage of the first aqueous storage battery.
